Power of the Stache

We all know the recent male form of expression: awesome facial hair. Mostly it's Duck Dynasty-style beards, however the more daring have trended towards the full mustache. The two "front-runners" in this movement are Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers (maybe you've heard of him) and USA Super Curler Matt Hamilton (maybe you haven't heard of him, yet). We know Rodgers is one of the best signal-callers in the NFL. What he does on a football field is all but unimaginable (unless your name is Brady, Manning, or Brees of course). He has built an off the field brand of endorsements and commercials that are not only entertaining but create that image in our head that he IS the face of the product. Now, the candles on this "cake" is clearly the magnificent 'stache that accompanies him and the Packers each season into playoff contention. Make fun of it or embrace it as he does, when you see Aaron and the 'stache you realize business is about to pick up. Matt on the other hand, is relatively unknown until recently. He is one of the best curlers in the world and seems to get "it" as his brand has grown exponentially thanks to his incredible skills on the ice plus his fantastic fashion sense. Now, I'm not talking crazy-cool funkadelic pants like those of Team Norway. Matt has his bright red USA Curling hat and a killer shoe game that may make a few trendy NBA stars stop to check out. So, unique fashion sense....check. Incredible top-level skill....check. Add the fact that Rodgers and Hamilton have become twitter friends and there's the trifecta. Now, is their success mostly due to their outstanding skills? Of course. However is part of it tied to the wicked sick awesome facial growth they both possess? I think so. Take into account that neither had as much success before sporting the man stache. So, if both are to reach the peak's of their sports for the long haul, fellas keep the stache!
